To all the people responding to Laid2rest: He/she is trolling. Walmart didn't award him/her a $50 gc to report a possible price error, and then also not fix the error. He/she likely didn't even contact Walmart at all. Ignore the troll.


Addendum: Not everyone who got this deal was abusing it. I did 1 order for 2 @ 2:37am EST/11:37pm PST. Thought doing more might increase odds of cancellation. Took almost 7hrs, but I was surprised to find I got them this morning.

If you got cancelled because of fraud prevention, you can try contacting customer service to see if they can issue you a discount code for a future order for the inconvenience. Be polite and kind. YMMV.

Ordered 2 using Discover card. Got a confirmation email. But no cards yet. 🤔

Update: the order actually filled. 20 mins after submitting order, got 2 codes.

Update 2: successfully redeemed 2 codes and added to account. Now I can finally go to bed.

How deals like this work:

1) Someone finds this crazy deal by accident.
2) This person does the deal for themselves. They never post it without getting it for themselves first!
3) Once confirmed that it works the person decides to post it to Slickdeals for reputation.
4) Slickdeals overloads the deal. Many people get through, lots of cancellations.
5) Provider either runs out of stock or realizes mistake and deal is taken offline.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Bought 4, I was in the market for a new MacBook Pro, so glad I didn't pull the trigger during Black Friday. I shopped through PayPal for 1% cash back and paid with my discover card for the 5% cash back. I went back to purchase two more but when I updated my cart it showed that the deal was dead, I wanted to buy more.
