To all the people responding to Laid2rest: He/she is trolling. Walmart didn't award him/her a $50 gc to report a possible price error, and then also not fix the error. He/she likely didn't even contact Walmart at all. Ignore the troll.


Addendum: Not everyone who got this deal was abusing it. I did 1 order for 2 @ 2:37am EST/11:37pm PST. Thought doing more might increase odds of cancellation. Took almost 7hrs, but I was surprised to find I got them this morning.

If you got cancelled because of fraud prevention, you can try contacting customer service to see if they can issue you a discount code for a future order for the inconvenience. Be polite and kind. YMMV.

Ordered 2 using Discover card. Got a confirmation email. But no cards yet. 🤔

Update: the order actually filled. 20 mins after submitting order, got 2 codes.

Update 2: successfully redeemed 2 codes and added to account. Now I can finally go to bed.

i have 7 cancelled orders, customer service email over a week didn't help a bit. Will posting this on twitter make any difference? I have all the order proof & their replies that they can't do much about it.

My order was cancelled due to "protection because it was flagged by by our credit and fraud team." Took the advice of posters and called a few times saying never had a fraud/credit card issue and it was a problem on their end. First representative said I had to reorder it then call back and a manger could adjust to the price. She left a note in the order. Then I ordered w/ the same email and manager refunded me the difference on the following call after being given both order #s. Hope this helps someone and thanks for those who posted.

I tried twitter already. I guess the dumbest reps are on walmart's twitter.
I gave up after their reponse saying that I cannot price match with another retailer. I did not mention other retailers name at all.

happened to me and the rep I called did not leave any notes so they denied refund

I'm not sure if the deal was a mistake . I purchased one card and it worked . I've added it to my Apple account with no problem. There was just a PIN. Once I entered it , my Apple account balance increased by $200. It's a 30% discount , which is decent but not insane or crazy
