If you think about the shape though then most saws use circular shaped blades (otherwise we would have a lot of accidents) although there are exceptions like dado ones.

Regardless of what he called them, they are a common blade size and this is a pretty good deal. They're no high end blades for sure, but for the average home owner or contractor, these 12" blades will be sufficient.

Like someone else if your just cutting 2x material this will be fine.
If you look closely, you might be able to see the paper-thin, soft, carbide teeth.
Seriously, WEN and Harbor Freight make better blades.

But not every 12 inch blade is good on a miter saw. Even Diablo, as someone recommended, doesn't do well if you get the wrong 12in blade for the type saw you use.
I use sliding compound miter saws (SCMS) So I need a negative degree rake angle to get that perfect cut. Plus I use Full Kerf blades so they do not deflect (bend a bit due to their thinner design).
So really it comes down to usage. I use Freud most (not Diablo, there's a big difference). CMT is a great blade for the money.
Plus they have really good quality, thick carbide teeth. So they can be resharpened again and again. That means one Freud or 1 CMT blade ($65-$170) will have the lifespan of 1,544,947,218 Dewalt blades lol. Or 20 Diablo blades.
Diablo isn't bad, they just dull fast ND if careful you could sharpen them, but theie carbide is softer, so you'll need to be extremely careful or you'll have nothing left.
All in all, blades are something I don't cut costs on. But the extra expensive blades (Forrest, Mamba) often aren't worth the huge price Tag imo.
