seems like an okay deal, but its one light... so yeah not that great.

oh i see this includes some sort of required base...

honestly, govee spotlight kit might be a better option, its not as refined as hue but not as expensive either...

The 40W power supply can handle 2 lights. The normal price for just the light is $129. This base kit is normally $149 so yes you can have as many base kits as you want, but you need the Hue hub. The Hue stuff is expensive, but if you are already invested this is a pretty good deal. Similar deal at Costco for $99 got 5 stars.

I'm actually heavily invested indoors. I think I understand the base vs. extension now after some research.

The base includes the power supply and the extension does not. You can buy as many base kits as you want, you will just have some extra power supplies left over. Hue also sells a separate 100w power supply, which can handle around 6 lights.

The only thing I can't remember is if the base kit includes the T connector, although I believe it does.

Calla base kit doesn't have T connector So I believe even this one won't have. I might be wrong
