Off-the-shelf coolers are often used for medical transport. Blood, organs, tissue samples, you name it.

When I worked in a lab, we used to use small transfer pipettes to move large volumes of electrophoresis solution. I brought a large turkey baster from home to work one day: my boss's eyes lit up when he realized how much more efficient it was. He drove to the closest supermarket and bought several more for lab use.

Long story short: off-the-shelf consumer solutions can work really well for specialized laboratory or medical application.

How's the Walmart preorder video game trick work for free shipping? Do you have to wait to cancel the preorder until after your other item arrives or can you cancel it right after placing the order and it will still preserve the free shipping?

will be testing out, but what i read from googling is that if you pay with anything else, but CC you will be charged up front. I picked a preorder game that was a couple of months away.
