It seems you could buy two $50 Happy Best Mom gift cards for 15% off at Lowes rather than buying a $100 for just 10% off if they allow you to buy two.

EDIT - Now that it is live, stacking two $50 Best Mom cards does not result in a $15 discount. You only get a single $7.50, sorry about that!

To me these deals are not as good as a straight discount.
These are just like the Target deals where they give you a Target gift card.
That credit is not an unrestricted credit when you have to shop at Amazon.
It depends on how frequently you shop at the store. I stock lots of discount gc previous, but realized that lots of them are not used after years (airlines, CVS, gamestop and so on), but lots of them went very fast: amazon, costco. Target is in the middle, with red card, you get 5% off, if gc is only 10% or even 9% off, maybe not worth it. For the recent 10% target gc which is not limited to red card, if stack with another 5% cashback gc, maybe worth it.

The good thing about distounted gc is it give some discount to something that is not on sale. The bad thing is that it might make you buy something unnecessary, risk of lose/forget, and time cost to track.

A lot of people shop at Amazon so the Amazon credit that comes with this gift card deal is good for them.
But the last time I got the credit, it was a PITA to use it because of the restrictions.
I like to have the credit free and clear.
The Target credit when you get a Target gift card is more useful to me because Target sells grocery items.

That is why I said it depends, I never have problem with Amazon credit as I shop a lot there, also Amazon online chat usually can solve the problem quickly. For target, usually it is a small amount of gc, and after they allow gc merge, it is not a problem for me too.

I prefer the gift cards from Kroger.com
Straight up discount or bonus.
Not held hostage.

Another thing is the store cannot always discount everything at 10%. But with a x% off gc, you can combine it with future sale to get extra discounts. One example is the recent apple watch deal from nike, with discounted gc, it became an even better deal.
