It has high cushioned walls that made it easy for her to rest her head or paws on. It's really warm and cuddled her body. She loved snuggling in it.
It's a bit small though - my dog was only 20-25lbs and the standard size was too small - I had to get the jumbo.
So triple check the dimensions. I think any dog bigger than 30lbs might be too big for the jumbo size of this model.
Also, cleaning it is a pain and it takes forever to dry. It only has a separate base cushion. There's no removable cover or anything. You can imagine how long fleece and polyester foam cushion takes to dry.

My dog loves hers. I got one for my cat and he avoids it, but he is weird about beds. He likes to curl up and make his own beds out of sheets or unfolded clothing but any time I get him specialty beds he won't go near them, so it says less about the product and more about my cat! But again, my dog sleeps on hers daily and I've been very happy with the quality and aesthetics.
I ended up getting one of the Shari donut beds as well as a "flat bed" from Costco. She definitely prefers the donut shaped bed and my cat sleeps on the Costco one more than the dog does! 😂
