Also worked for me Today when I went to cancel my kindle unlimited subscription. Don't confirm cancelation, just see if they offer this deal.

I had a 3-month free kindle sub from buying my new kindle. I tried to cancel it(to prevent auto-renew). At the last step, it offered me a 3-month extension for $1.99 total.
Current members may get a sinilar offer.
