Bought this while it was $20 during BF (on PS5). I'm at least 8-10 hours in and this is an excellent, well done game. It's scratching the horror game itch I needed.

This game was awesome. For 20$ it's a steal. I usually never finish games to the end but this one I definitely did. The story was great. Alot of twist and turns.

I noticed that it's maybe 10 times less scary than RE7 and easier, but definitely worth $20. If you ask if it's really game of the year, I'd say not at all...

Things started off super scary and freak-me-out good, but then the excitement died down. I just killed the second daughter and am getting pretty bored with this iteration. I find myself running around from area to area without much fear.

Fingers crossed for some more really scary moments!

I'm not going to town just for a game. I might add something for shipping, a few on my list like Forza 5 and Halo Infinite. I'm not a Halo fan but I hear the campaign is good. Maybe short but I like single player like Far Cry 6 a lot.

Surprised no one else has mentioned getting motion sickness.
I played a couple of hours and then had to lie down because I felt like I was going to puke.
Wish there was a FOV adjustment setting.


*edit* I also disabled bobbing and motion blur effects.

Picked this up with Steelbook for this price from Best Buy on BF. Definitely worth $20. One of the best games I have played recently.

Bought this new at Target during BF. I would highly recommend you price match this at Target so you can get a new copy instead of a used copy from GameStop

There are a lot of moments you are expecting jump scares and they just do not happen. Still a great game!
