Bought this while it was $20 during BF (on PS5). I'm at least 8-10 hours in and this is an excellent, well done game. It's scratching the horror game itch I needed.

This game was awesome. For 20$ it's a steal. I usually never finish games to the end but this one I definitely did. The story was great. Alot of twist and turns.

Tempting but back-log is huge right now. I usually bulk-buy my games during BF sales for the entire year. Nier, It Takes Two, Avengers, GotG, Valhalla, Skyward Sword HD just off the top of my head. Still need to play RE7. I think by the time I get through all of these, Village will be $20.

Not OP but I ended up selling the game back to Gamestop when there was a 50% increased trade-in. I only played about an hours worth.

My reason is probably more with the fact that I don't play first person games too often so I got motion sickness playing RE: Village. I could only play the game in very short spurts. It got frustrating having to backtrack and explore because the more I have to wander, the more dizzy I got.

Since BB never delivered my $20 order from 11/20 to the store for pickup and it is still "Delayed", I just cancelled and ordered for delivery from BestBuy for $20.99. $1 more, but free shipping, and it might actually get here!

Is there any need to get the PS5 version? I own the PS4 version of the game but managed to get a PS5 in the Walmart+ stock, and doesn't RE8 offer the free PS4 to PS5 upgrade?

I really enjoyed this game, Ethan Winters has become one of my favorite video game characters.
Like normal I dump a lot of replay hours into Resident Evil games and this was no exception! A speed run is a lot longer than most RE games but it is still fun. Totally worth MSRP and discount price!
