Bought this while it was $20 during BF (on PS5). I'm at least 8-10 hours in and this is an excellent, well done game. It's scratching the horror game itch I needed.
Too scary?
This game was awesome. For 20$ it's a steal. I usually never finish games to the end but this one I definitely did. The story was great. Alot of twist and turns.

Is GameStop still selling open/unsealed games as NEW? I haven't bought from there for years due to that practice, so was curious if they were still doing it? Thanks

Personally I've never had an issue with this. Only started buying from GameStop since the PS5 launched because I got Pro, but every game I've purchased has been sealed from the 2 locations near me.

This one is a lot of fun, I'm enjoying the gameplay. It's a big change from prior REs for sure, last I played in the series was RE5, skipping RE6 as it looked like crap and RE7 seemed rather questionable...

I'm 21hrs in on PC (playing with a XB1 Elite controller on the couch on the family room 85'' Sony, via HDBT), just finished the 3rd boss. There's a bunch to do, lots to collect, weapon upgrades and loots to find... NewGame+ seems like they've done it well, from the reviews. More to collect, more to upgrade, and so on. I've missed the days of Dead Space 1/2, where NewGame+ was quite rewarding, I picked RE Village up as it seemed to foot-the-bill.

For 20$, it's a damn good game.

How hard is this game? Just getting (back) into modern gaming. Not looking for something difficult and/or frustrating.

I watch some of the game play on YouTube and I think I'm gonna pass.

It's actually a nice linear story that doesn't take more than about 10 hours and has replayability adding new weapons and unlimited ammo options on new playthroughs which was a ton of fun for me. Also they are going to have some free dlc with it

I'm a casual 38 year old gamer and I had a blast with it. I played on the easiest setting to enjoy the story and atmosphere, this one connects the story of re7

I would recommend playing re7 because the story continues with village. It's not required but it's the same style gameplay

Got target to price match the digital copy for me using the gamestop link.

You should buy a lottery ticket. I've never heard of someone PMing physical to digital.

Even on normal, it's far easier than previous REs. There's also far more ammo and whatnot than any other REs, so resource management isn't nearly the issue it is normally.

What? No. Look at the ESRB rating on the cover: M. I hope you know what that is short for and what the top media story concerning parenting is today.

I got the steel book free with purchase a couple weeks ago during the BF sale. Extra $1 charge here is dirty
