I received the email last year but not this year. I have ordered from them quite a bit the past few months including shipped products, in-store shopping, and curbside pickup.

Yes, it seems to contradict logic, but these mystery rewards don't seem to be sent out to "reward" loyal shoppers. Instead, it seems these are typically used to entice those who have not shopped much at Best Buy. I received the one in October, and I have since shopped a lot at Best Buy since then. Needless to say, I did not get the reward this time around.
