Sound wise def not, but if portability and waterproofing matter, this has both of those. PB100 is rather large and about 20 lbs

I don't have experience with this tbh, but I do have a JBL Boombox 2, which is def better than this, but it was $500. The Boombox is pretty portable and it's waterproof, but the PB100 is still better than the Boombox if you're just comparing sound quality
