This beats a prior FP deal in 2020 in spite of the excessive inflation this year.
Pretty good price for a 165Hz G-Sync, sub-ms (0.5ms) g2g response time monitor. The screen rotates to offer portrait or landscape viewing.
Compare to $190 at Amazon, $200 at Newegg.

Would anyone be able to help compare this to the Samsung Odyssey G30A that was on sale during BF? I'm not sure what the pro's and con's are when it comes to monitors. My main interest is in gaming, but will also use them for work.

I don't know what kind of panel that has but if reviews state good color accuracy and can smoothly run the same hertz, I'd say that over this.
I have bought this monitor a while back, and while I do enjoy the monitor it is important to note that this Monitor is not a standard "GSync" monitor, but rather it is a "GSync Compatible" monitor. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/gefo...-monitors/
More info about the differences there, just an important note for those considering this monitor.
Edit: Also while the 165hz refresh rate is achievable, I believe it is from an overclock. Whenever I attempt to run it at 165hz I get a effect on the monitor similar to scanlines. It isn't a terrible viewing experience, but especially on the black colors and non moving images it is slightly noticeable. I generally keep it on 120hz or 144hz due to this reason. Also, the color balancing out of the box is atrocious and will need to be tinkered with to look alright. Other than that I have no complaints about the monitor
