Lenovo Legion 5: RTX 3070, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, 17.3" FHD IPS, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD $1,469 + up to 12% SD Cashback + Free S/H

Coupon Codes:

DECEMBERCTODEALS $280 off

There is a first order coupon that popped up for me which gives an addtional $50 off one laptop or $100 off two laptops. YMMV

$1,799.99 - $280 coupon - $50 coupon = $1469.99

You Are Saving $330.00

Also, someone stated you could potentially get an additional $100 off from a military discount. After you have added the laptop to your cart, you should see this at the lower right:

" Are you Military, Student, Teacher, Nurse, Medical Provider, or Senior 55+? "

And ,then below that there is a verify with id.me button. According to the website, its 7 percent off for military ($102.90 off) and 5 percent off for student, teacher, medical person, or senior ($73.50 off). YMMV

-$100 Military discount = $1369.99 , If you have a valid military id. *

No longer working: HOLIDAYSURPRISE $100 off

Shipping is free.

12 percent SD cashback would be an additional $170+ off

QA Note: Going to note in bold and italics where OP has upgraded the base laptop to get the specs and price:

Be careful with slickdeals cashback... While I like slickdeals, their cash back program leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to getting your points/money. Until SD resolves this, you are better off using one of the other cash back sites.
Got this laptop deal last time around. SD Cashback never worked for me, even created a ticket, no response.
Got the Intel (5i) version with QHD (2k) screen and 1TB SSD for $1,400 a few weeks back, this is an ok deal based on the price.

You could get ~10 percent on other cashback sites I suppose, if you are worried about slickdeals coming through. The coupon savings are rather significant so you would be ok if the cashback failed for some reason.

I always prefer Costco for this much costly shopping for their 4 years of warranty at no extra cost but they dont sell everything what you need. Will it be wise to buy this system with 5 years of onsite insurance or any other insurance? It is always headache if something happens to system then without insurance, these guys will suck the blood.

Prob good to have although most major problems would most likely show up in the first year of use which is already covered.

I have my eyes on these two:
https://www.costco.com/.product.100794372.html
https://www.costco.com/dell-inspi...94371.html

but still, Lenovo has powerful ones at attractive prices like on this deal OP posted.

urlhasbeenblocked has 10% cash back on Lenovo at the moment. Yeah, it's lower, but there's a better chance that you'll actually get your cash back.

How easy would it be to swap out the hard drive for a bigger one?
