don't bother with this unless you're good with electronics. I am and I still busted a shoulder button on tear down. You'll also need a GOOD set of hobby screwdrivers, ifixit is nice. A shitty set will strip the screws.

It's not super hard, its just everything is sandwiched together and incredibly tiny. Its very easy to do more damage than good. The joycon is just not well designed, its convenience over function. I've moved to pro controllers and only use the joycons in portable mode.

I'm a physical copy guy myself, but why not consider picking it up at a later date to have the physical copy? Especially since the disc has absolutely nothing on it except an activation for the download?

In my opinion, at 10 dollars, absolutely. Especially if you have the latest hardware, it is hands down the most gorgeous game I've played. Is it perfect from a game play aspect? Absolutely not. If you are critical and play through it, you can definitely tell it is a shell of what they intended. This past year has been 99% bug, performance, and AI fixes. Very very little content added.
