The ratchet is especially useful for auto work. Did my friends brakes this past weekend and the ratchet is great when working behind the calipers, or in the engine compartment when you have limited swing room for a standard ratchet. I use mine more than I thought I would. Helped a ton when I had to mount a few TVs.

Buy for light duty auto work. Took apart all the 10-11mm screws and bolts to take off interior pieces for Prius. Small and perfect for the tight spots you can't get to with a larger impact

Great for diy light auto. Anywhere it can fit/reach, I use it instead of a manual ratchet, with non-impact sockets. 3/8 drive is the bulk of what this is appropriate for - if I'm getting into 1/2 size sockets, I probably want an impact wrench or breaker bar. If I'm getting into 1/4 territory, I probably want a hand tool
