I backed this when it came to Kickstarter. Best Kickstarter that i've backed, owner was giving constant updates. To be honest though, when i got it, it's had less than 1 hour's worth of gameplay. Hated the screen protector being plastic and not glass, and the interface was slow, and a pain to use.
I bought the AtGames Legend while i was waiting for the Iircade, and was able to mod that easily, and that's my go to for retro games now

According to Reddit ... It would be a hard swap not soft
Thank you Sir .. if anyone is considering this for sauce then sounds like it may be a hassle to get everything connected and working properly. I wonder if the display is hdmi
EDIT: it has an HDMI out but no mention of how it is connected internally. If you do swap this out with a rasppi then you may have to rewire the controls to usb and figure out how to connect the display.

Everywhere it does say licensed games. I did see a bunch that were free so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Those games can add up and get expensive though. I wish those game controllers with 3200 games came with a stand, I would be all over it vs hooking up to TVs.
Does anyone own this? Is downloading games through wifi and are they yours forever in case this company goes out of business?

I'd be surprised if they're going out of business. I think it's more of a play to get more machines out there to make it easier to get the bigger games licenses. I've had this model since August and I love it. I paid $600 total for mine on sale then. In fact, I ordered another one- I made a hybrid of a Space Ace top ($300/Amazon) and a Retromania stand ($50/Amazon, corrected to $100 since my purchase!), and may sell my original one on FB marketplace next year once the sale is off. Or I may keep it, if either I can't sell it or run out of space to have all games downloaded. They rarely have game sales, though; however, they've had weekly sales (40% off/game) the past 3 weeks, and have 3 more weeks of sales till the end of the year, so buy the games now if you're buying this. You can create your account and buy games before you get your machine, and they'll download once you login to your machine the first time (or you may have to push them from the website). Definitely recommended!

The hardware seems better than the competitors but the software seems far more limited
