Lame, no go for existing subscribers.

It's one of the more stagnant streaming services despite one of the higher prices. The early access to some theater-release movies are the only reason to consider it alongside Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. Just my opinion. I've had all those for about a year with the pandemic and find myself using HBO Max the least, except when there's a new-release movie I want to watch.

Doesn't seem like much of a deal compared to the recent option to get up to 6 months at $7.50/month, with option to cancel at anytime. I'm starting 3 months in and probably will cancel after watching the new Matrix movie before getting charged for the 4th because I am running out of things that I want to watch.
