No they aren't. They are stiffer making it a little more difficult to shuffle them, and the coating/finish isn't as durable as Copag/KEM so they won't slide against each other very well like they should after a little use.
Was thinking single player (solitaire,…) w clear cards, but-
'…cleverly designed so the number and face of each card are in opaque areas on the edges and center.'
Pretty cool for the occasional niche use.
Heads up the print is sort of a coating and will scrape off. So be careful if they drop in the pool to lift them up carefully and not rub the bottom/edges or you'll strip the print right off.
(Or at least the prior version had this flaw)

Picked these up at Walmart a a few months back. Cool look. Was concerned about shuffling but they shuffle just fine. Not much more rigged than a regular deck. We'll see how durable they are.
