I would recommend that you put the price and Woot in the title.

This is been in the market for only six years and can't find any detailed reviews. Some complaints about weight distribution and uneven heating on the sides versus bottom.

Wondering if it's made in China or made in Italy (outsourced), but CR never reviewed any Breville pans as far as I can tell.

Here is a limited review from CNET though, if you're interested.

Unsure. Some reviews says it's made in Australia.

Same listin in Target says made in USA or imported

I would simply grab allclad factory seconds. Not worth the savings for me when you miss lifetime guarantee from all clad.

Nope. I do have allClad d5. The easiest way to do rolled oats is 30g oats+100g almond milk and steam it for 15 minutes in instant pot. If you're doing steel cut you can pressure cook in IP l. Use pot in pot and it's been a massive home run for me, for the last year or so.

Welded disc bottom is a different technology than All-Clad and one typically associated with low cost pans.

You can steam oatmeal in just about anyting but like George said its hard to beat Insatnt Pot especially for soft steel cut oats in no time.

I don't have this saute pan, but have another Breville Thermal Pro pan(like a Chef pan) which i bought brand new before a year. It's excellent. I haven't used All-Clad and they don't sell the size we were looking for, bur Breville did. As per my wife, it was money well spent. We use it at-least 4-5 times a week and food doesn't stick unlike previous thinner pots we had.
Our pan was Made in Thailand.

Thanks, just saw the Amazon listing which is actually very detailed. It correctly states the pan is manufactured in Thailand (as you state) and even clarifies the pan is actually made by Meyer.
