Amazon has Spontuneous - The Song Game, Family Party Board Game for just $15 and using Coupon Code: GYLIUG3F

HOW TO PLAY: If you've ever heard a word that's caused you to spontaneously break into song, then Spontuneous is for you! The rules are simple. Each player writes down several Trigger Words on their Hit List. When it's your turn, you announce a word from your list and flip the timer. The first player to sing at least 5 words from any song containing the Trigger Word gets to advance on the board. Stay alert for those extra musical challenge spaces scattered throughout the board!

Pretty fun game for the family but also requires effort, the game doesn't include prompts. Instead, you have to include and write down challenge words for the other players from songs that you know or like. So definitely more work than other games.

Sounds pretty fun, and the lack of pre-prompts just make it more open and fun imo.

Game has good reviews and sounds like it would be fun, and this deal is a good discount, but it doesn't look like it should be a $35 (MSRP) game for what's in the box (unless I'm missing something). Even at this price, it seems kindof skimpy.

Agreed. 50 cards... seems like you'd get 2 or 3 plays before hitting every card a couple of time and then it's just a matter of remembering prior answers. It looks like they have some interesting cards like "make up a rule for the remainder of the game" which would add some variation, but not enough. I'd totally buy this as-is from the $5 store, but for $15 I'd like to see this with ~500 cards so it has a longer lifespan.

I hear ya. I still bought it bc the reviews look great and for us its gonna be in the rotation for game night. Seems like a good way to get the younger kids involved in this TikTok music era and the adults with their knowledge of real music/lyrics laugh out loud

Anyone recommend a new board game for large groups? We play games on New Years and our age range is 15 to 75. Thanks...

My family really likes Telestrations and they have a "party pack" which lets 12 people play. It's classified as a "board game" but it's a drawing, passing, guessing, drawing again type game. We always laugh a lot when we play it.

Another one we like is Sushi Go Party- up to 8 people can play.

Both of these games are easy to learn, which always helps in a bigger group of people.

Apples to Apples is another easy one that can be funny and it also has a party box version. Codenames (several versions) is also easy to learn and up to 8 can play (in teams).

Amazon is having a 3 for the price of 2 sale that includes some board games. I know some versions of Codenames are included.

Hope that helps! Smilie

I find "One Night Ultimate Werewolf" and "Bubble Talk" to be a lot of fun in groups.

The cards don't have words on them, it has an infinite lifespan. You are providing the words for the other players!
