I opened the link in the email ahead of time it gave a count down to start and when it started it redirected to a que which said an hour wait but within 10 minutes I was able to shop and purchase with no issues.
Couldn't find any in stock have checked daily and just checked again. YMMV

Got mine exactly a year ago. I had to drive 50 miles to pick it up. Darn scalpers. I suggest if you are looking to buy from target, select a store which is far away from the city. I have both Xbox x and ps5 my strategy worked both times. Have a few family members who got theirs in the same fashion
