The same pile of movies (with a couple of new ones each time I think) have been going on sale over and over for the last year or two... and each time the deal is posted I buy a couple more that I passed on the previous times (partly budgeting, partly they aren't top of my list for movies I want to own for the $10 each or whatever that they work out to)... but I have gotten to the point where when these deals are posted I have all of the ones I even slightly want to own. Hoping they start to add many new different movies to these "on sale" lists soon...

Sold out of Serenity. I had a couple I wanted, but didn't want to pull the trigger. Saw that and I was so ready to just buy them until it was out of stock.... Crap.

It's first on my list when I see it back in stock!

Would you comment on which of these movies have the best 4K UHD quality and sound? I will be buying some of these only to get the best 4K picture and best sound, to enjoy in a home theater setting.

Three I can't recommend enough. The Mummy 1999, shot on film, the effects surprisingly hold up, looks gorgeous, detail is unbelievable. Backdraft, fire scenes done with practical effects filmed to perfection. There's nothing like it. Finally Lucy. Digitally shot I think, eye candy of the highest order. They all sound great with Atmos or DTSX tracks. A/V wise, these movies will impress.

Save your money for different movies. The better films in this lot are not the greatest AQ/PQ and the rest of the films here are not worth it.

If you want to show off what your equipment can do it is going to be a lot more enjoyable if you pick flims worth watching and that have an excellent source.
