If I buy this would I be able to upgrade to an annual pass at the park and get the full ticket price of a 3 day applied to the annual pass cost?
Yes you can. Best to do it on the last day of your 3 day visit.

Hopefully they'll bring back the SoCal deal in January.

To clarify, we make the reservations in advance right? For example, if we purchase the 3-day park hopper, we make the reservations online on the dates we want, correct? And NOT directly at the theme park?

And even if Disney decides to increase prices in the future, we don't have to pay extra then, correct?

Man, i like disneyland but its becoming only available for the upper middle and upper class. So expensive. A family with 3 kids, car, hotel, you're looking at $2000 for a weekend Frown

Good luck trying to get reservations in advance. They really messed up system with Disneyland annual pass holders. I heard they are booked up all the way into January. As much as I enjoy Disneyland, you're better off going to Knotts Berry Farm for a third the cost.

That's what they did in FL - just to stay in the least expensive onproperty resort and the highest genie pass is MORE expensive than staying in the BEST/MOST expensive Universal resort for the same period of time which includes a BETTER "line skip" package that also includes restaurants.

I like Disney but man, it's getting tougher and tougher to justify spending that money for a crappier experience.

I wouldn't see why not, they don't necessarily check to see if a child is between 3-9 when going through the gates. Anyone know differently?

Does Kroger charge sales tax on the purchase?

Buying tickets direct from Disney they don't charge sales tax. I realized a few years ago buying Disney tix from employee discount perks programs that the savings was wiped out by sales tax charged by those programs, so these days I double check

And the worst part is that getting into to the parks is almost the cheap part. I just got back from a Disneyland trip and it seemed like food ended costing just as much as everything else!
I always stop at a grocery store next to Disneyland before we go and buy stuff to make simple sandwiches. Like a bunch of them. Fill my backpack with sandwiches and snacks chips, jerky, nuts. Everyone eats sandwiches and snacks all day. Then we each usually buy 1 big meal each at the park. It really works out good.

Level of income does not indicate class or dignity. Plenty of people who can afford to go to Disneyland are just as obnoxious of those who can't. I had passes for several years and witnessed the most self entitled garbage you can imagine and those were the adults.

Over $100 per day to stand in line. I think I'll keep my money.
