Mann this is why I hate Disney anything. They rip grandparents and people off for years.
Fact is the cheaper the tickets are the more people would go and it's already packed. Yes it's expensive but the bottom line is it's the best theme park experience and you pay for that accordingly. There are plenty of cheaper vacation options if you can't afford it and there's nothing wrong with that.

Do you have to be jabbed?
No, just mask indoors and some rides.

Is this a good enough discount? 10%

I think anytime you get a Disney park ticket discount you call it good enough.
Indeed.

Besides the occasional "sale" there are basically zero Disney ticket discounts other than playing GC games, and even then you're probably getting only 5% unless there's some other deal going on.

Do you guys think this purchase will be considered a "grocery" purchase to stack with credit cards that give you CB for buying groceries?

Gonna wait for the So. Cal. Winter discount tickets. Those should be about $70/day for a 3 day pass as has been in previous years. (Last 3 day pass was $83 through summer.)

It is what it is for people out of the region though.

Can you upgrade to SoCal $399 pass and apply $390 to upgrade?

I would say it's standard considering those who are actually in the gc game manage to save up to 20% on dgc. 5% is old school.

Glad we went while fastpass+ was a thing. Genie sounds like such a cash grab
Gave genie+ a try today. We walked on every ride. Neat part is that you can book another ride as soon as you scan your code. Doing it to ride rides with long ques for one day is worth it.

When we went a few years ago we had park hopper tickets and not once used this feature. But we had young kids at the time, maybe it's different with older kids... I would just dedicate one day for the other park and get the cheaper non-parkhopper tickets.

You could do that with fastpass+ also. use all 3 of your rides early and you can keep getting more all day.

The cheapest annual pass for non southern California residents is $650.
I have that pass and I've been > 10 times so far. Reservations are not that hard to get, really. Definitely worth it.

If I buy this would I be able to upgrade to an annual pass at the park and get the full ticket price of a 3 day applied to the annual pass cost?
