At this price, it's pretty hard to argue with. I mean, it's no full-blown gaming PC; it features some proprietary parts and is not super convenient to upgrade, but for under a grand with an RTX 3060, 512 GB NVMe SSD, and 11th-gen Core i5, it's hard to do much better with any of the bigger brands.

2 upgrades are needed for this:
1) memory: add another 8GB. Dell is picky, go with this: https://www.crucial.com/memory/dd...ct19034851
2) CPU cooler is bad, change it with Vetroo V5 (easy to change and fits in the case)

$30 each

Not bad.

Would be worth mentioning in the description that it also includes a DVD Writer.

850 including cb sounds like a good deal for 3060 12gb. Can any enthusiasts comment on this as a budget gaming pc? Anything need to be upgraded?

Seems to be the standard price that comes back about once a month, except now there's no more 15% CB around Cyber Monday and you're likely not going to get this before or by Xmas anyhow so I'd wait. Got the R12 w/ i7 , 16gb, liquid cooling, 3060ti for I think was around $1390 which is a better value IMO especial combined with 15% CB and Amex $120 back offer (or Chase 5%) if you have it.

meh you can get the 3060ti version for 1100 at hp so why buy here. 3060ti is LIGHT YEARS above a 3060 for gaming.
Where do you see 3060ti for 1100?

I wish I could actually build this PC myself using customizable and upgradeable parts. Instead of this proprietary monstrosity. One day...hopefully.

I think that one is sold out. I think the Costo deal is better, but unavailable.

The Costco deal is phenomenal if you can get one, but it seems sold out/unavailable at most locations.
