Fyi, the graphics card they ship with this uses a proprietary HP configuration and runs really hot. Just be aware of this if you purchase. You will most likely have to leave the side of the case off and have a fan blowing at it, or take the 3090 out of the case and using a different rig
A strong word of caution from someone who just ordered and received a GT13-1350st with a 3090 from HP:

These 3090s run scary HOT (and LOUD if pushed)!

The problem is with the VRAM temperatures. I know that not everyone will be using this for mining (this applies for gaming as well), but to give you an idea, I'm at a pathetic 70 MH/s with the glass panel removed, underclocked, undervolted, and the GPU fans at 100% constantly. With all of those measures in place, it STILL runs at 96-98°C. That's the coolest I can get it to run while still maintaining a pathetic 70MH/s. My 3060 ti gets 60MH/s for perspective.

This is relevant to gamers because the VRAM will still cook if you run even a moderate game. I cannot stress enough to anyone who buys one to use MSI Afterburner (or similar) to monitor your VRAM temps.

Here's a decent video on the matter https://youtu.be/cCMTK0FIFDU[/url]]. Based on this, I already have replacement thermal pads, heatsinks, and two 80mm fans on order dedicated for this 3090. That's the only band-aid I've found to help this monster out, but I'm not very optimistic it's going to help much.

I hope this info helps someone make a more informed decision, as HP has horrible return policies.
Keep in mind if you want to cancel your order, you have ONE HOUR to do so. I had an order from earlier with more bells and whistles I wanted to cancel for this one and simply couldn't.

And if you want to return it's a 15% restocking fee (400 USD give or take)

So watch out. HP is not very friendly.

I have the HP 30L but the Intel version I paid $2700 for. I did the thermal paste/pad replacement and keep side off, added fans like PrometheusRising says. Works great and all good OEM parts. I added a second M.2 NVME and 2x RAIDed HDD along with my upgraded 2TB m.2 NVME. The first NVME comes with a heat sink and except for the 3090 they're all name brand parts. Well worth it for the deep learning I'm doing and has been solid.

Also, there's no need to keep side off. If you're messing with the clocking for deep learning or mining then you'll likely want the sides off and more fans, but for gaming it's cool enough

I bought another one. I got one with the 3090 and 10600k in April and have no complaints. I did replace the thermal pads as I use the 3090 to mine ETH while not gaming.

Which 3090 card did you get?

I put an aluminum heat sync on the GPU and an extra fan over the heat sync and it stayed acceptably cool but was louder. I eventually changed the thermal pads. Was shocked at how cool it ran after that but warranty could be void if you mess it up.

Definitely - just fair warning for people who think they could use for gaming out of the box. You get severe thermal throttling on the stock card without adjustments (assuming HP hasn't made adjustments in the past few months).
