I propose that whenever we give reps for an aquarium deal, we write "Tanks" as the comment.
If you download the PetSmart app, you could play the Treat Trail game to win a coupon for 15%, 20% or 25% off. You could get the discounted gift card, price match for the deal in store (if different from online) and then use one of the coupons for an additional discount.
I'll thumb up and rep just because it's an aquarium deal.

That being said, keep an eye out for larger tank deals. I was able to get a 75 gallon and stand for $175 just a few weeks ago.

Yeah that might work. I'm finally setting up my 36gal bowfront and stand I got for $87.49 on black Friday or I'd be all over this haha.

The dimensions of the tank are 36" x 12.5" x 24". If you're short like me (5'2") you'll have a hard time reaching the bottom since it's 2 ft tall. It's only a foot front to back, which also makes it difficult to aquascape (in my opinion). I prefer a 40 breeder since it's also 3 ft long, but wider front to back (16" I think) and shorter (18" I think). It's also better to have more surface area than to have a deeper tank (more oxygen exchange at the surface).

petco/petsmart have deals where a 40 breeder is about 50 bucks, and I paired mine with a stand from petco (https://www.petco.com/shop/en/pet...-gallons). The stand used to be $65 but is now $105, which sucks because I kind of want another one for my 40b bearded dragon tank.

My parents got the Rona on Thanksgiving my brother and I tested negative but still quarantined so I couldn't finish getting supplies and get it setup until today. Just got the water in yay 🙌🏻

Yeah some people may not need or want a 75 though and that was a black Friday deal so might not see one as sweet until next year. Who knows though, we're seeing record inflation but this year's BF tank deals were probably the best I've seen in years if not ever. $175 for the 75 , $315 for the 125, a 55g starter kit for $70. It was 🔥

We bought the 36 gallon bowfront for 87. Ended up taking it back after test fill and it was creaking. You could actually reproduce the creaking by gently pulling on front/back glass. We took it back and got this. I agree with the statement that the less deep 45 gallon does make it slightly harder to scape and it is damn tall. I'm 5'10" and it's a stretch to the bottom. But, I like this tank, it presents well. Recommend a canister filter that would reach nearer the bottom with it's intake.

The treat trails game coupon in the app says "may not be valid with any other offer or discount" but I've heard of people successfully using them on sale items so it's worth a try. If you could save 25% off the sales price then pay with eGift Cards you got at a 15% discount it would basically be like this tank & stand was about $96.
