Stumbled across this, it's listed as a limited time deal, likely has to do with amazon's launch of "Amazon Renewed" although this are renewed through Woot subsidiary…

Anyways good price similar to last FP woot deal on renewed, (for those of us who didn't need the Costco 3pk)

I assume it's still the case that you can't use a router unit as a satellite? If that were so I'd be in for two or three.

The earlier models you could flash the satellite fw onto the routers, effectively converting them to satellites. I am not sure about this model.
I now have 1 router and 5 satellites.
