Please. I have several Fossil watches. My oldest is 11yrs old, looks new, is still ticking and gets compliments. None feel cheap. The trick is to never spend full retail on these Fossils. Never pay full retail on anything. Learn to buy sales, discounts and clearance on EVERYTHING. My Fossils are heavy, look good, keep time and Garner looks and compliments. You don't have to pay a lot just know how to buy.
They always on sale
I agree with this...if you're looking to get into entry level luxury watches. I love my Tissot Seastar 1000 Chrono. In fact stick with entry level luxury because after that you're wasting cash. It's all ego and arrogance after that because Tissot is more than solid and often on sale or discounted. The whole "Fossils will feel cheap" is in the buyers head as Fossils are great buys. Don't believe watch snobs.

If you're looking to start getting into watches I'd recommend Seiko, Tissot, Hamilton, Orient, and there are a lot more… this is just a "fashion" watch and will feel cheap
While they are a decent deal, you can instantly tell how cheap feeling these fossil watches are, better to spend $50 more but get a decent quality watch.

I would also add another trick: get a bidet. It's like white glove service for your ass.

Watches are silly and fun, only spend what you can afford to throw away. Your phone or a $30 digital Casio tells better time than ANY watch. Full stop. I would recommend a beginner get a quartz (battery powered) due to the hassle factor of automatic (winding watches).

Been buying these a few years now and like others have said they keep time, AND DO NOT LOOK CHEAP! I will buy again and again and again. My only complaint is lack of variety in the men's watches.
