I own this cage and attachment. Very solid so far for my uses. Cage itself is sturdy enough for the weight that I lift. The cable attachment took about 1-2 hours to install and was relatively easy. The construction is solid. It uses plates for weights and includes clips to hold them in place. Usage wise I use them for lat pulldowns, face pulls, curls, extensions, rows, and haven't had any issues. Does include lubrication as well, so the cable is pretty smooth. Overall I'm happy with the purchase for my garage gym.
Yes, the Progear 1600 Ultra is a rebadged Fitness Reality 810xlt with sightly different paint, stickers, and accessories.

They both manufactured (and warrantied) by Paradigm Health & Wellness.

I own Progear 1600.

Yeah, I mentioned this in another thread, was wondering if anyone knew if this was a decent price or not. Sounds like maybe it is. I guess I'll go ahead and get it. At least get 5% back using Discover.

Walmart had it at $169 back in June, but $195 is still a good price. I paid $230 in Feb for the Fitness Realty brand version which is the exact same one.

Bought for $169 in 2019. It was easy to install and worked great! With the considerable increase in price for gym equipment, $199 seems like a good deal in 2021.

This fits the fitness reality cage too? It looks like it will but just thought I would ask you based on your comment. Thanks!

EDIT: price on the rack dropped to $195. (this is still just an accessory for the rack).
this rack is wider, taller, and deeper than the everyday essentials, but rated to 800# instead of 1000#.
this one is also 2" square while the EE is 2.5".

the everyday essentials:

This is just an attachment - the cage is another $270. looks like it might fit the everyday essentials cage @ $200?

It may not fit. The FIT seems to be different for this.

Been looking at the Fitness Reality package for the past 2 months on Amazon. Since this is the same equipment under a different brand, it's a pretty killer deal to get both the cage and attachment for under $400. The same package on Amazon would be $501 right now

I have the cage and cable attachment It's pretty solid. I just wish the cable attachment was Olympic size, not standard.

I think I made out with buying the EE cage @ $200 plus the EE lat-pull down @ $179. Note, Walmart has a listing for the cage and lat-pull down combo for $400, but individually you save $20.

EE Lat Pulldown

EE 1000lbs Power Cage
https://slickdeals.net/f/15475153-walmart-power-cage-200-cable-machine-attachment-77?utm_source=andr...
Shipping is $50 for the stand-alone lat pulldown, bringing your total to $430. You're better off buying them together at $400.
