Considering this for my 7th grader. I know nothing about gaming PCs. What do you mean by performing "moderately"? He plays mainly things like Fortnite, COD, Roblox, etc. Thanks for any advice!

Can play most games really fluidly at 1080p around 100 fps or more - deeper dive into the video card relative to the newer version of it: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...4105vs4034

The 2060 alone is worth around $350-375 used. I don't think you could purchase these parts separately, even waiting for deals, and build it cheaper. I haven't gamed in a while but out of that list, he should be able to play those games around medium/high graphics with the exception of CoD, i would assume. Should not have a problem at 1080p.

Also, this is built with "off-the-shelf" parts it seems. Meaning each and every piece can be upgraded when needed in the future. A lot of the big name pre-builts will use custom, proprietary parts that make it difficult or downright impossible to upgrade.

I don't think you'd find a better deal at this price.

Looks like a good deal, but I would hesitate due to NewEgg being the Seller.

HP had a $900 3060 deal last week. This isn't a deal unless you are desperate.

On Black Friday I got a similar deal for a friend, a CyberPowerPC with same specs for $870 from Amazon. The card is a EVGA 2060 which has been going for $500 used on Ebay. Going to sell it cause he doesn't play games.

This deal is even better cause of the mouse and 16GB ram, mine had 8GB.

This is better cause HP or Dell use proprietary parts which will be expensive to fix and are probably lower quality. Defeats the whole point of buying a desktop. Also the 3060 is LHR if one is into mining.

Would this work for gaming in a 1440p monitor. Need to purchase a monitor to go with it.

Doesn't work in checkout unless you have a UPS email.

2060 is a little slow at 1440p, if you're trying to play graphic intensive stuff. It's fine if you don't mind reducing the quality settings.
