The fact that you said that tells me that you've either never bought a new game at GameStop or you've bought the last copy of each game that you've bought there. All of their new games, except for the last copy, are factory sealed. I am so sick of people spouting the same stupid disinformation about new games at GameStop.

Gamestop fanboys don't like to hear the truth but this is it. I've purchased many *new* games at gamestop that have fingerprints on a "sealed" game. Most of the time they still look pretty new so I'm not too upset but I won't ever have them ship me new games. Always pickup at store. Once I had a new game that was clearly resealed and the code inside for was redeemed. Goodluck trying to convince gamestop.com that you aren't lying as they don't really care and don't t do anything. Not like they have random dlc codes lying around to give out

Does it matter really? As long as the disc has no scratches and the case is flawless then it's fine. Unless you plan on keeping all games you buy sealed up.
