The sale for $189 was actually for 1x 6.0Ah and 1x 3.0Ah battery. This is for 2x 6.0Ah battery. So it's $10 less with even more capacity! (Unless the relatively rarer 3.0Ah battery is of more value than capacity).

Regardless, this kit typically posts for $199, so still a good deal!

I have been looking at these for a couple years (expecting the price to drop). Bought one this morning. I agree, they normally are on Sale for $199 with 2 6Ah. I also got 5% Off using PayPal with my Chase Visa. I prefer these flat batteries. I have a Flashlight that will stand on its own using one of these. I wish they did not include the charger. I have a dozen of them.

Good deal. Wish i kept mine. I got the dewalt version on that deal a few weeks back and sold the M12 rocket. The dewalt light is much brighter but is much bigger folded up and the base has a much bigger foot print.

I just don't use it enough to buy it again lol

I use it quite a bit and I agree with you, horrible design for releasing the battery. You'd think by now that they would've updated the design.

For those of you who don't know the struggle, the battery requires that you pinch the battery release tabs while pulling out the battery. The issue is that there is very little room for your fingers to pinch while also pulling/wiggling the battery out. It's a pain.

ive had better luck tugging on the battery a little bit, then restart pulling and push the clips in the 2nd time

Great deal, esp. if you have other tools that benefit from the 6.0 Ah batteries (e.g. shop vac, blower, circular saw). If I didn't already have the Dewalt 20v stand light, I'd be all over this.

It might be worthwhile to have both. This one takes significantly less space than the dewalt light. I find this more handy in lightweight or small space situations. The dewalt light is used for more I need a ton of light situations.

Yeah I got the previous deal too and am not too upset. The 3.0 CP battery is nice for my other m12 tools and I only had 1.5 otherwise. The extra 6 would be nice but I'm not going to return it over it. I'd probably be seeking out a 3.0 CP for my other tools anyway, but wouldn't be seeking out an extra 6.0 big one

6ah is good for this light which is a battery hog.
Besides the battery removal problem, my bigger gripe is it doesn't stay in intermediary positions...it slides down to the mid point, so effectively has only 3 positions.
