For anyone wondering, this S70 blade works for PS5. Reading speed according to PS5 is over 6100. I used the included heat spreader at the bottom and put Sabrent PS5 heatsink on the top. Both fit nicely in the console.
It's good to see the prices on PCIE 4.0 NVME SSDs finally coming down! I almost bought this for $300 like 6 months ago.
Even without the free external enclosure worth $40, this is the cheapest this drive had been to date. It even beats out Newegg's Black Friday deal of $268 with a $15 promo gift card.
This is probably the cheapest of the 2nd Gen PCIE 4.0 drives with the fastest speeds on the market right now. The only way to get cheaper is to go with the somewhat slower 1st gen PCIE 4.0 drives that are rated around 5600/4300 speeds, like the the PNY XLR8 CS3040 that's on sale for $230 right now. But for just $20 more, I'd say go with this drive at 7400/6800 speeds and the updated controller and NAND chips. Even if you don't want the enclosure (or need the extra speed that you'll probably hardly notice), you can probably sell it for like $25.

true. i got the black friday deal. had 2 of these in raid 0 and had 12500+ read on it. then about one week later one died and blew up my windows install lol. glad it was only one week. sent that drive back to ADATA on my dime and waiting for replacement.
Bought the Black Friday deal along with the Samsung 980 Pro. This was faster at 7xxx read and 66xx write vs the 66xx read and 49xx write for the Samsung but after a few runs, it started acting up and getting errors. Wanted to like it but decided to stick with what looks to be more stable of the two which was the Samsung. If you get a good one, this thing is fast but since I'm using the drive for my OS, wanted something I felt a bit more reliable.
