Why would Samsung users log out of their Samsung account? I don't log out of my google account, my google account or my apple id either on my phones. Just like apple users being into the apple ecosystem, I think Samsung users are more likely to be in the Samsung ecosystem. I can't see many Samsung users logging out of their Samsung accounts especially considering lot of people probably have Samsung products and apps like the Samsung Galaxy Buds+, Samsung Pay, Samsung Health app, Find My Mobile (locate and protect its data), Galaxy Watch with Galaxy Wearables, maybe home automation which is popular, etc. Even though I use mostly google apps, there are so many important Samsung apps needed for me.... I saw a youtube video where they put the 3 trackers against each other and the Samsung was getting hits just as quickly as the Apple. It was Europe where Samsung is more popular but Samsung is still quite popular in United States.

Where the AirTag struggles is short bluetooth range of only 30 measly feet, low volume, no keyring hole (so dumb) so an additional accessory $10-30 is another cost and no find my phone ring button which is a huge con for me. I got 2 iphones so I am most likely still going to buy the airtag but I am going to wait for a sale.
Samsung acct is optional. It's not required to use Samsung phones. Plenty of people just use Samsung phones running Android and Google apps.

Bottom line is Apple is an opt out system and Samsung is an opt in system. Even in markets where they have the same installed base, the opt out ecosystem will have larger numbers.

Very small percentage are "logging out" of Samsung accounts. Samsung users tend to be in the samsung ecosystem just like apple users who tend to use apple ecosystem. There are a lot more Samsung users than you want to believe and they are logged in and are using Samsung apps and other Samsung devices. This is why the Samsung Smarttag were getting ton of found pings just as fast as the airtags. I watched a few youtube videos too in Europe and the United States.

I was going to buy this so my son can put the slim one in his wallet since he is forever misplacing it. But everyone is saying AirTag is better. How does that fit in a man's wallet?
There are wallets available with a slot just for the air tag to fit in.

I got 3 phones (including an iPhone SE 2020) connected to my tile pro 2022. It also has the ability to connect to headphones like skullcandy and bunch of other devices. Don't need buy one tracker for every phone/device which would be costly.

Is it possible to connect multiple Samsung phones or Apple phones to one tracker? I don't think you can with Apple. I tried to connect my Samsung Galaxy A71 5G and Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite tablet but was rejected so I doubt that. I know with apple that one can connect 1 phone with like 16 AirTag but I'm talking about the other way around. 1 tracker with multiple phones. I don't think it is possible with either Samsung and Apple. Versatility to work among various operating systems and to also be link 1 tracker to many devices is a big pro to me.

*** I ran a comparison test between my Samsung SmartTag vs my tile pro 2022. I even put both in lost mode to see when and often both would be found by others. They both work very well and there are some things that I prefer one over the other. I do like them both a lot. I decided to buy another tile pro. Instead of the tile pro 2022, I bought the tile pro 2020 (midnight oasis) because it was cheaper and I didn't want two identical black trackers.

DAMMIT. I was just sitting in the bathtub here thinking about buying tile for the shower renovation and what do I find on SD? A TILE SALE!? Well let me just mosey on in and -- oh. It's technology disguised as a regular life thing again. Dammit.

I did buy one though, because, well, I was here anyway.
Same! Our kitchen backsplash is going in next week and I was like.....my tile better not be on sale.

These are great; haven't lost my keys since I purchased them. The Bluetooth and App are okay but it is not as intuitive as I would want it and connectivity issues are persistent.

Tile squandered their time on the market and Apple's AirTag became a superior product.
Superior?

1) Apple works only with Apple phones. Tile works with IOS, Samsung and other Android phones.
2) An airtag tracker can't work with multiple phones. A single Tile tracker can.
3) An airtag can't share. With Tile, you can share.
4) Volume is too low. Tile and SmartTag both have much louder speakers.
5) Bluetooth range is a measly 30 feet.... not 400 feet like the Tile and SmartTag.
6) No keyring hole so one needs to pay an additional $10-30 for a holder. Tile and SmartTag has that.
7) No double press phone finder that both Tile and SmartTag have.
8) Warns and protects thieves with beeps/notifications.
9) Tracker durability issues that are prone to scratches/scuffs. Tile Pro 2022 is the most durable of the 3.

One can't just talk about its large apple finder network and just glance over its obvious cons. A "superior" bluetooth tracker wouldn't have that many cons. Also there are tons of iphone users happily using Tile and that is part of the reason why the IOS Tile app has a 4.8 out of 5 star rating with nearly 500K reviewers in the Apple store. The android app has a 4.7 out of 5 star rating.
