My input here will be for this type of chair, not specifically this chair.

This looks pretty similar to the Nemo Stargazer chair (https://www.nemoequipment.com/pro...ze-luxury/) but definitely different (e.g 7lbs vs 13 on this). I have the Nemo and I really like the wideness and ability to recline - both options you seem to get with this chair. At 13lbs this is definitely not a backpacking chair and is better for car camping. At $40 this is a helluva lot cheaper than the Nemo ($220) and would be well worth that price if it's even a fraction of how comfortable the Nemo is.

I was reviewing camping chairs last year and saw the Nemo version of this as well, but wasn't going to spend $200 for a chair, but I will take a look at $40. Hopefully this is comfortable because I'm tired of sitting in the cheapy $10 sporting goods store generic folders.

The product page says it might be available at your local warehouse for less, but this isn't one of those items you see around during winter and I don't recall seeing it the last time I was there.

I have the Sams version of this chair and LOVE it. I have one for inside my house and one for outside use. It's a great chair. Not sure how to Costco version compares but the swinging camp chair design is similar.

The Nemo chair is incredible. Besides heavy, is this as comfortable?? I just ordered two Rio knockoffs and hope they compare at least for comfort.

I have this rio version, got it used for $35. Been using it for the last few months and really find it comfortable and to really rock you do need a table or something. But a great chair and very comfortable

It swings a bit, but feel are dangling in awkward position when you recline. Used it to show off to friends who visited but never see anyone else using it at homeā€¦

Second - I think I got this from store last year for $29 so maybe wait a few weeks?? It's definitely not $54.99

Just received mine in the mail. Initial impressions... this thing is pretty easy to assemble. Just a few extra basic steps to get it set up. The footprint is massive compared to your normal camp chair. I find it pretty comfortable but the lady in the ad pic must be 6'6" cuz my feet don't touch the ground when I'm sitting in it. I can see myself sitting in this next to the campfire, but I don't think I'll be bringing this to any travel ball games. Folded and bagged up, it's pretty much the same size as my QuikShade chair with the adjustable shade.

I have one of these and will pick up another. I'm a heavy guy and the one I have has held up for about 2 years now with no signs of wear. Do not expect this to replace a hammock. It's essentially a reclining rocker. If there was a footrest I would probably live in it, but I can't really complain about much else. Especially at this price point.

Mine got delivered today. Very large and sturdy. Good construction and seems comfortable. Great for large people or kids to snuggle up in one. Im 5'7 and my feet dont touch the ground when sitting in it
