The best play kitchen under 100$ is the one whose MSRP is 229$ or something outrageous but is on sale for 100$ and under.

Please don't find this as a rude post. I was there where you are. I decided to wait on couple of kitchens in my shortlist and closely followed their price. I nabbed Melissa and Doug kitchen and the food group 4 baskets set for 82$ all in on Target in June end 2021 stacking couple of promos (kitchen on sale for 95.99$ and buy 100$ toys get 25$ off target circle offer). The one I got is https://www.target.com/p/melissa-...A-76596497.

Not sure it helps you. But that is the strategy I followed. As per actual shortlist, it depends on how much space you have for this at home, whether you want wooden or plastic, vintage design and candy pink color, or something that looks realistic and grown up and mimics the color scheme of your own kitchen. But yes, the more working parts it has, the more fun it is, like moving knobs, ice dispenser, etc. Besides Melissa and Doug, I had shortlisted 2 kidkraft ones on their higher end of offerings and had kept the 1 that Sams club sells as a more affordable back up.

Now I hope this helps .

Lookup kitchen sets(might not be exactly the keyword, but I'm sure you'll find it) on here.

There was one(I believe a few more was also posted) around black Friday. If memory serves it was around $85-100 at Walmart and Amazon. It checks every box that you're looking for. Sleek and modern and best of all it's not "plastic toy" like. It's Lifesize so expect it take up space. I bought one last year and my friends kid was super happy with it.

Sorry I can't help you with a link or name. I believe the msrp is around $250 or so. The thread was fairly popular.

The brand is 'Best Choice Products'

They have many different options. I forgot the model I bought but the same was posted here around black Friday. Well worth the money

I'm glad to be of help. As for the plastic ones, sorry, can't help with that. I specifically wanted non-plastic realistic looking set. Best luck. Hope the kid enjoys it for long time to come.
