DTO is great but be warned that factory reconditioned means it will be put in an oversized box with zero padding. Read the last page of comments from this previous deal to get an idea of what you might receive https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/666625
I've been on the fence about getting a table saw for years and am tempted whenever I see deals like this, but if you read the negative reviews on any of these cheap table saws they are pretty abysmal. When you add the fact that someone returned this, probably because of how bad it was, I would say this is definitely not worth it for someone who intends to use it on a regular basis and keep it for years as opposed to doing one project with it.

I know this doesn't apply to you if you are replacing an existing table saw, but for most inexperienced people doing small projects a circular saw with the right accessories ( rip fence, plywood/2x4 guides) is going to give better results and is generally safer.

I've only bought factory blemished but I'm gonna take a chance. Threw in a couple other items on sale that are just blemished so maybe it'll get packed decent, but I'm not holding my breath based on those other stories.

That is not always true. I received my nailgun with an excessive amount of padding.

Any opinions on this saw? I shopping for a replacement for my low end craftsmen. I really want deck extensions and the ability to install a better fence

Those are some very small rip capacities:

Left - 8 inches
Right - 12 inches

And it's only got one miter slot.

Someone just posted another deal on a tablesaw that's better reviewed:

https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...nd/p/R4514

They also have the other model without the fancy wheels for slightly less, but this one seems to be the better go to.

I have a similar model table saw from Ryobi, brought it from DTO as well 2 years back. It worked ok for ripping subfloor tiles (Dricore). It's definitely not for fine carpentry. The fence is not very square and won't stay square for long after adjustment. It also does not take a dado blade. For most homeowners it will fit the bill, but you can probably get similar results from a circular saw.

The Ryobi table saws are extremely light (a lot of plastic). While that makes them easy to transport, they are very dangerous if not properly secured to a surface. Not sure how well this stand works. I had mine bolted to my workbench with a hole on the bottom for saw dusts.

Thanks for mentioning this RIGID jobsite saw. I have the RIGID stand for my Metabo sliding mitre saw and it's a legit stand allowing me to quickly and easily convert the saw from a working mode to storage mode. It also allows me to easily move my heavy mitre saw from my storage location to outside where I do my cuts (therefore I don't need to worry about dust collection). I believe jobsite saw is using the same stand. That stand alone goes for $150.

RIGID has a reputation of making a good mid-level table saw especially with their R4520 model. The biggest issue for DIYers when having an interest in getting a table saw is having enough room to store this saw in a typical DIY workplace environment (i.e. the garage). This stand makes that possible.

Here's a good quick video review of the RIGID job-site saw and stand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vpMVjbPumM

BTW, the SD link for that deal is here: https://slickdeals.net/f/15507670-ridgid-10-in-pro-jobsite-table-saw-with-stand-279-99?v=1&src=SiteSearch

FYI This is in-store only. They never seem to have this model available for shipping.

I'd avoid factory reconditioned. Mine showed up like others have, and the box had holes.

I bought a factory reconditioned pre-covid and use the saw to install 1500 sqft of 12mm laminate flooring. Went through 2 saw blades bc of the thickness of the material. Just buy a new blade, the blade that comes with the saw is not very good.

Pulled trigger on this one along with a rigid double bevel saw. Came in at around $250 total for both, good enough for the occasional use at home
