I work at a local boost mobile, thought I'd help try to explain those asking about the att or T-Mobile thing. Basically we use both, the new dish/att network(boost calls it the transformed network) is not compatible with most of our phones, only the Samsung A32 and Moto G pure. We can also activate most unlocked BYO iPhones under the transformed network. Most people are still on the T-Mobile towers(expanded network), as most of our phones currently can only run on those, and they have this weird thing where only new customers can be put on the new transformed network at this time, no upgrading for existing customers. I have no idea if you order this deal online though if they are going to send you the new transformered SIM card( black sim) or the T-Mobile expanded network sim(orange sim).
dang, I paid $180 + taxes/fees (came out to around $200) for the Mint Mobile 12-month 4GB plan.this is cheaper AND 25% more data.
There is a $50 gift card for BYOD after 6 months

Hi fatalman,

These plans do not Include International talk & text, but you can add one of our international packages to your monthly plan. You can check out these packages and details here: https://www.boostmobile.com/inter...es.html
Hi boost rep, if we sign up online, are we getting the new black Sim or the old orange sim as new customer?

I bought 3 iPhone 6s Plus about 2-3 years ago I think it was right before T-Mobile bought sprint or during but the first month was free and I couldn't get service barely and I live in a city. I never paid a bill because 2 out of 3 phones had overheating problems within a week and had to be switched at the apple store. I'm guessing they were refurbished being sold as new or they were a bad batch. Either way I was trying to give them a chance to see if I liked it better than metro but metro was better for me. I currently debating trying mint to see if it's better than metro or about the same. Also wondering how much better T-Mobile would be vs metro on the throttling.

Is there a valid point here?

Are there other $8/month offers for 6 months?

After you buy another 6 months, what's the yearly cost?

Is the year cheaper than other offerings?

Seems kind of hard to beat....
So Mint before fees is $45 for 6 months and $180 for 12. Comes out to $12.50/month.
Boost is $150 for 12 months which comes out to $12.50/month. Extra GB of data too. I'm switching over right after this comment. Just worried about worse service but guess I'll find out.

That math is wonky

I have the same question...how long do we have to activate after placing the order? Is it 90 days or can it be more than 6 months from now?

For a slight savings over mint and an extra gb of data, I'm willing to give boost a try. I've placed my order. Mint has been just okay for me here in CO (significant throttling at times) . Fingers crossed for at least the same level of throttling on the t-mobile network. I assume they treat all mvnos the same.

According to some guy on Reddit....

"There are currently two separate Boost backends operating at the same time due to the transition (I was confused at first why one website looked different than the other). One has the T-Mobile plans offered at the legacy boostmobile.com website, the other has the AT&T plans at my.boostmobile.com."

Well, I've already had a bad experience. It charged my card but did not check me out. Stayed on the screen and said payment declined. Bank shows it went through. No email, nothing. Still setting on payment screen. I will dispute the charge, and write Boost off.

For those asking about taxes, they were very minimal on the $150 a year plan. Added $2.86 to the cost. ($152.86 for my state)

Promo link near bottom of page says 'nations largest 5G network'. That is T-Mobile. Staying away from this deal.
