Description
Member's Mark Nitrile Exam Gloves are stronger and possess greater chemical resistance than both latex and vinyl gloves. They are generally recommended for use in areas that may involve higher levels of stress on exam gloves (ER and trauma units) or areas that deal with harsh chemicals or liquid immersion (Lab, Oncology, Environmental Services, Endoscopy, and Pharmacy). Nitrile exam gloves are an excellent latex-free alternative that features dependable strength and chemical resistance.

I typically use the harbor freight gloves that are 5 mil and even those have a tendency to rip. If I'm lucky I can use them twice for car detailing purposes. Most of the time for auto repair/oil changes, they won't even last through the task.
Depending on what you are using these for, they might be ok. For car detailing, they would probably be ok. I wouldn't use them for car repair work. Maybe smoking meats (applying rub or handling raw meat). 5 mil at the very least, 7-9 if you're doing heavy duty tasks. I swapped out my brakes and rotors using some 8 mils. Even with brake fluid on them, they held up strong.
