So, is this thing quieter than my ear piercing Craftsman, which sounds like I'm dragging a metal shovel on the ground as hard and fast as I can?

This is a really good deal, I am surprised it has such low buzz around it.
These usually sell for +$100, and even the Harbor Freight version of this is more expensive.

Thanks OP, grabbed one!

This looks nice, but I maintain and do all the repairs on 6 cars because I enjoy it, and I rarely use my cheapy SD seat I have because I don't have a car lift. I use a 2" piece of pink foam 20x more than the low seat. May want to think about the use case before you purchase even though it looks nice taking space in your garage. If I had a short car lift that allowed me to sit under a vehicle, it would get used and I would be considering this. Otherwise, it's a decoration for me.

Thanks OP! Been wanting one of these for a while and was going to go with Harbor Freights but they were never in stock. Even those are $70, so this seems like a steal. Seems to have good reviews across the web as well.

Seems like as it comes, it's just a unpadded hard seat? You have to buy the padded upgrade? Seems like a pass

Tried it from Costco. The tool storage I found to be really inconvenient to use. Became frustrated with flimsy drawers/shelves and no quick access. Also I didn't find it comfortable.

Returned it and got an adjustable height seat for this same price and love it.

I actually got the DeWalt one, a caterpillar one and big red tr6350. (Sort of a high end, middle range, and cheap one) the DeWalt doesn't go very low at all and it's a bit tipsy, as well as the tool storage is crap for me. The caterpillar wheels seemed to not roll as well as the big red and maybe the piston was nicer, but not enough to be worth the extra cash.

So big red. I like the square open tray. Easy for quick draw on multiple sized tools, can still hold cans. Goes low enough for car work. But high enough for table work as well.

Definitely gets some mixed reviews, but they all do. They all have wheel issues or piston issues or seat issues.

Finding it hard to justify. Maybe I don't do enough at that level.

Anyone know if this is in warehouse stock at a cheaper price, or an online only deal?

I've never seen these in-store personally. Haven't been in the past week (east coast).

I really would like something adjustable, seems like whatever height I need for my current seat it's never at the right height
