This popular deal is back on sale. I have had both versions of this tank and stand — the older one with the black stand and this newer gray one. I liked this newer version so much, I'm selling the old one.

Though this combo does include an LED light, it will not be enough to properly light your tank. Keep that in mind for the final cost of your aquarium, which will likely also include filter(s), heater(s), substrate, plants/rocks/decorations, and, of course, fish!

The last time this deal was available, SlickDealers were able to apply an additional 25% off coupon. EDIT (thanks BrianS13): That deal still applies by signing up for Treat Trails and getting the Petsmart app. That brings the total down to $187.50. On top of that, you can buy $188 worth of Petsmart gift cards through their website and save 15%. Your final price (not including tax) is $159.80 (!!!). Just be sure to apply promo code HOLIDAY at checkout for your gift card, and have it emailed to you instantly.

Sadly, that coupon no longer exists, but if you'd like to make this extra slick, you can buy $250 worth of Petsmart gift cards through their website and save 15%. Your final price (not including tax) is $212.50. Just be sure to apply promo code HOLIDAY at checkout for your gift card, and have it emailed to you instantly.

Thank you. I will edit the above post to reflect.

I have the old version of this tank. I recommend it. I think 75 gallons is a great size. It is often not any wider than a 60 gallon but has m0ore depth. But, the best size really depends of the space that you have.

As mentioned, the LED light is junk. You'll need a new one. You'll also need a filter. I use two canister filters each rated for 75 gallons. Then there is sand or gravel, wood, ornaments, chemicals, and other expenses. Even with the tank around ~$160, you'll need to spend around $500 even before you get the first fish. I am not trying to discourage anyone on this deal, as it is a good one.

So I create a new post since the old deal had gone dead. With the added benefit of 15% off if you buy gift cards. Then it gets merged into the old deal. Fine. Then a new person posts a new thread with my info (see replies above) — and my post and subsequent replies are merged into the new post. What?? I mean seriously, does SD just want to tick people off so they don't post deals any more?

I was first to post this deal this morning and I had mentioned the 25% off coupon in the PetSmart app plus the 15% off gift cards promo. Then I saw your comment on my deal post as though you wrote it like you were posting a deal. I'm totally confused and I think you are too. You have to clock the top right of Slickdeals then click on post deal but if you post a deal that's already been posted people will flag it as a repost.

I posted this deal like an hour before you did and yes now I see by clicking on your username that you not only thumbs downed my post for some unknown reason but then posted the same deal yourself which was merged into my post/thread. Must be Slickdeals way of fighting spam/reposts. If you post an original deal you find and you're the first to post it, that will not happen.

We love ours!! We are using 2, 50 gallon Marineland filters. Bought a big bag of small landscape rocks from HD for dirt cheap. Rinsed them off multiple times in buckets and they were exactly what we wanted. The cabinet is nice and sturdy also!!

I bought this with the coupon that brought it down to $180. Great stand for the price.
