FYI, Normal shipping date for me is 12/30.
Not sure how but I'm able to get 8 magnets for $8.
7 or less doesn't get free shipping but somehow $8 does. Doesn't seem it ought to work like that and should require 10 magnets for $10 to hit free ship.
I've ordered their magnets a few times and I'm happy with them. The magnets are the sheet type magnet material and only like 1 mm thick. But they are good for photos.
You could get duplicates of the same photo and hand out some to relatives.
Also when you make the magnets you can text boxes blank and just do straight photos if you prefer. LIke there is one 4 magnet 2x2 set with 'Love' in one magnet, you could leave that text empty and get a straight photo.
There is also an Amex YMMV deal for $5 back when you spend $25. Might be able to combine this deal with something else to trigger the Amex $5 back. Kinda hard to find good deals there without promo codes. but I guess you could get 25 mangets for $20 net that way, but thats a lot of magnets.
Edit: After trying multiple things it was the SD plugin that messed things up. It added an "Affiliate Link" as one of the many promos that it auto applied. You need to unselect that, select the $1 magnet link that expires today and also select the free shipping one. Different ones are greyed out depending on which ones are selected. The affiliate link was greying out many of the other selections. Even then I had a hard time selecting the two that I needed. I ended up using a different browser and logging in fresh. Eventually I got 16 magnets shipped for $16.
They discounted the shipping and I checked out. Really easy and quick.
