Great headphones. Had these for 3.5 years as my daily drivers, still kicking. Dropped them a lot and used them in the rain. The microphone went out after I fully submerged them in water 6 months ago, but the headphones are still working and Bose is still supporting these by occasionally releasing software updates. The noise cancellation quality seemed to degrade over time. I was blaming it on the abuse these headphones went through. I had to replace the ear pads since the stock ones started falling apart. This somehow significantly improved noise cancelling, even though I used aftermarket pads.

Been this price at Target for months
Got a pair last month! Silver. Looks great! The only thing bothers me is it runs out of battery if you forget to turn off after use; which never happens to my 1000XM4
XM has the same issue if auto power off when not worn is disabled. The on ear sensor is annoying as it auto pauses music when the headphones are removed. Yet, these are somewhat required for Sony to prevent the headphones from shutting down when only noise cancelling is used without BT connection.

Have to agree. After a long line of failing headphones these have been the best by far. I've had them now for around 4 years and still doing well. I had to replace the ear pads but other than that no issues. Great investment although they were a gift.
If you have the PayPal $60 Adorama offer, you can get the QC45s for $220. I also had another $25 credit from the "Buy $25 Crypto get $25" PayPal offer, which stacked with the $60 offer. Bought a $300 Adorama gift card for $215, and then I used that gift card to buy the QC45s, which were a few cents over $300 with tax, so I was able to use the entire $300 gc. Stacked with Chase 5% PayPal cash back for another $10.75 back, and another 1% cb for buying Adorama gc from a cb site ($3). Net out of pocket was $300.63 - $60 - $25 - $10.75 - $3 = $201.88.
NO FRIGGIN WAY! Been in SD a good 15 yrs and its nuts how the Unicorn deals are so few and far between. Is there a thread for those?
Lol, yeah, I have gotten lucky with a few of those over the years. The best one I remember was a price mistake on a $600+ Brother laser color printer/copier that Amazon sold for $50. I got two. Sold one for $450, and I still have the other one almost a decade later. I missed out on some of the craziest ones though. A few years ago, people were able to order $10k+ worth of camera lenses for almost nothing, and Amazon shipped out many of those orders.
