IIRC the docs are all uploaded for conversion so that could be a consideration for some.

I am downloading all of these apps that are mostly from the same developer—then clicking on the free lifetime promo — then deleting them . I am not sure if that works but in theory they will be available if I ever need them.

The iOS econsystem is really a mess for everyday work. That's why I stopped using my iPad pro as a laptop replacement. Constantly worrying about crap like this that my $90 Pixel 3 could handle with ease.

Why can't Android users just enjoy their devices? I'm personally very happy for them. They use their wonderful devices, and I will continue to use my overpriced iPhone/iPad/MacBook and we live in peace.

I have both. My blood pressure rises when I am forced to Apple. I hate both companies now, but I love the flexible and independent approach that Android allows much more often.
