Too bad this doesn't include the DP502 Flux White that's been ~$50 in previous deals. That case has a ton of value for that price. These ones aren't quite as compelling compared to the competition
This may seem like a very cheap case, but if it only comes with 1 case fan, unless you have fans laying around I would suggest $50 range cases that comes with front intake fans and mesh panels (some montech cases probably).
The entry to DIY PC is so expensive these days anyways that it doesn't seem worth it to cheap out too much on the case
After looking at the documentation, pictures, etc... The cheaper cases don't look like they have good airflow for your front intake fans. I don't think anyone should buy these unless you're using it for like a system with an Intel i3 or equivalent. The rebate just extra kills it because you gotta wait like 4 months for your money back. Maybe if the discount was instant I'd be more inclined to look at this positively. The more expensive case that looks like it would have decent airflow is far more expensive. At that point you're better off buying one of those 50-75 dollar cases with really good airflow. I guess you could just remove the front panel to get your airflow back but you can do that with any case so why even bother buying this and dealing with a rebate when you could just buy something in the 30 dollar range to begin with and remove the front panel?
I remember when Antec was the Cadillac of cases and power supplies. I don't know what happened to them.
Nothing happened to them, and that's exactly the problem. They're still stuck in ~2004 quality in terms of engineering and design, while the rest of the industry has been moving forward for two decades.
Still rocking a Antec Mini P180 from many years ago. I had to replace the fan in the back once. I don't have a window, lights, or modern usb ports on the front like the cool kids, but it is quiet and solid feel. It would be sad to hear if they are not making good cases still.

Try making relevant comparisons, like a $30-$55 Antec case vs other $30-$55 cases, not NZXT cases at double to triple the price.

It was such a revelation when staples started doing "easy rebates." But still took forever to get.
