Unlike prior years, looks like this may only be good for the shackburger and the shackburger only. No Chicken, no smokeshack, just shackburger.

I always feel disappointed about these food promotions wherein they never offer a substitution or an option for a vegetarian item on the menu.

Also idk why people join food deal threads to complain or talk about which fast food religion they're following. Personally, I know what I'm in for when I pick a fast food or quick casual restaurant, as well as understanding the pricing depending on what I pick that day. Like I really like the batter on McDonald's chicken nuggets, but don't expect the chicken to be on par with CFA.
Shake Shack is definitely a treat for me - I prefer to ask for my beef burgers "well down" because it crisps so well and sears so well in their high heat griddle while retaining moisture, but def a preference thing. As for the food, they use 100% Angus beef from whole muscle cuts, try to source locally from grass fed beef suppliers (the Madison Sq location is arguably the best with their brisket and short ribs blend), and doesn't use meat with hormones, antibiotics, or that's been frozen. The quality of their beef, chicken, and portobello is what shines at Shake Shack compared to others and you get what you pay for.
Only thing I disagree with Shake Shack on their pricing is their fries (I like crinkle cut, but pricy for the quantity) and the holiday shakes ($2 more for whipped cream and sprinkles, idk), but I'm still getting it for an extra spark of joy in my day.
