On the other question being prominent in this thread - the unlock policy and if it 12 months or 60 days
Here is the update and I checked with couple of customer care representative just to be sure and this is what I was told
" the device activation date when you receive it and the service activated is considered the date of activation" and needs to remain as an active service for 60 days to be unlocked
Pls. Note the service has to active for 60 days but I have heard conflicting views from a telephone rep and chat rep they all did confirm it's 60 days and not 12 months but one said 60 days of active service and other said automatically 60 days. Those who might still be thinking you can reach totalwireless on a chat and confirm with them for your reference as well

Happy for you . Exciting 😁
For me, I will just pay for 2nd month to maximize the chance for it to get unlocked. Then use the points earned from the reward program to get free service for another 2-3 months.
I tried many options, and still stay at $200.
Buying $499 unlocked T-mobile upgrade
edit: do you guys pick "unlocked" or "t-mobile" version on the S21 product page???
If I pick "t-mobile", tradein shows $400
If I pick "unlocked", tradein shows $200
would appreciate someone with a quick answer...
The promo code you have entered is not correct. Please verify the information, and try again.
Coming out $154 + tax. Not sure if it's worth it.

There were a number of people whose trade-in values got lowered because of bogus reasons, and one or two got their trade-in value back in service credits (as opposed to credit back to the credit card they used). The thread is here, and you can probably find the posts if you search for "assess", "valuation," etc:

I keep reading about people getting their orders cancelled because they've ordered too many phones from TF/TW, and it'd be nice to have an idea of where they draw the line.
(Use VPN and wipe browser cache )
I do sometimes use different name in address, but at least 15 orders same name and no cancel yet.
I used one day shipping 3 times. All 3 times failed and were ordered like 6am-8am est that day.( Came 4-3 days later. Customer support says order processing system takes time and offered me no compensation on late shipping.)
Now I just go normal free shipping and wait few days.
These XR are good because I am paying $133.80 per XR with NY tax and apple store takes them back at $200 apple store gift card.
Basically buying apple gift card at huge discount 🤣 . Too slick !
