So, since I found the nice deal on the air mattress, I decided to look at the Meijer app again for more one day only coupons again. Saw this. Seems decent, but I haven't been in the market for tablets as I'm content with my laptop and my last fire tablet.... Kinda sucks. But for those of you that like them, here you go. Today they are on sale at Meijer for $99 but the coupon takes off another 20%. I'm posting this with the slickdeals app, and so far I can't share screenshots. So for those of us lucky enough to be in a state with Meijer and are looking for a fire tablet, check them out. Coupon
On sale for $99, clip coupon for 20% off. Making it $80. Might still be able to get in on the other coupon $10 off of 75.
Other coupons they have:
10% off Vizio and LG tvs
20% off rca and element tvs
$50 off 50" LG nanocell 4k
$60 off 55" LG nanocell 4k
$70 off 65" LG nanocell 4k
$50 off Vizio 58" v series
The above are combinable
40% off stand mixers(kitchen aid are on sale for 349 and Hamilton Beach for 149, some random others too)
50% off 1 TV mount
40% off sunbeam electric blankets
And several more that I'm not sure are deals or not as I don't ever shop for those products, kids stuff, feminine products, etc.
Enjoy!

You could consider the $5 price difference as a last-minute shopper's tax. 😂
But I would not even recommend a Fire Tablet anymore.
The tablet to buy today is the Lenovo ChromeBook 10e. It comes with the play store and can run most of what the Fire HD10 can run. PLUS it has 4GB of RAM.
Advantages of Chromebook tablets:
1. Has FULL windows based Chrome (same one you have on a PC). You can apply addons such as add blockers etc...
2. Chromebooks have ZERO bloatware. Amazon is the KING of Bloat. There is no such thing as buying a Android tablet today that has zero bloatware.
3. Updates until June 2028
4. Chrome is the most secure OS around besides Linux.
5. Chromebooks have the most frequent updates.
6. Today, a Chromebook comes with the Android google play store AND you can run Linux apps as well.
7. you can use a HDMI hub and use this tablet like a desktop.
The screen of the 10e is almost as good as the Fire HD10. The Fire HD10 does have better speakers. The 10e has fast charging up to 45 Watts PD, you can charge the entire tablet in less then 1.5 hours (VS 3 hours for the Fire HD10). The 10e does have 3.5mm headphone jack, just like the Fire HD10.
Oh... did I say ZERO BLOATWARE with all Chromebooks?

And imho, there is one negative.... only a 32 GB hard drive and no micro SD card. The 10e is a budget tablet. Due to Chrome OS, I think this tablet is better then Samsung Tab A, Lenovo P11 and the fire hd10+.
Tablet has one 3.5mm jack and one usb-c which can super fast charge at 45W with a pd charger rated 45 or higher. No usb, no micro SD. Again compare this to.... Samsung Tab A, Lenovo P11 and the fire hd10+.

Hope the link works... its to a YouTube video.
The guy has a hub that has SD slot. So you can use this device that way.

The Vid sold me..Now I am going to try to get it from walmart with the KB.. damit.. more toys to fill the chest.
The Fire tablets can not stream video through USB-C port.
1. Chrome on a Chromebook is the Full Windows Chrome version so it takes more recourses to run... basically Chrome on a Android tablet should run faster. You can download Brave or Vivaldi (turn on add blockers) and you will experience the same browsing speed as a android tablet.
So on the Chromebook, use Chrome for google docs and all streaming and any bill payment banking ect... and use another browser for everything else. Remember only the Chrome app has widevine level 1 support so don't install any streaming apps unless you need to download movies.
2. It takes a while to upgrade. Watch a youtube video on how to upgrade a Chromebook. You need to upgrade this at least 3 times before it is fully upgraded.
And that is it. GOOD LUCK and enjoy.
Thanks
